Virtual School Premadhāma Premaculture

INTENSIVE PREMACULTURE COURSE:

INITIATION AND DESIGN

“Life is a planetary exuberance, a solar phenomenon. It is the astronomically local transmutation of air, water and light that reaches the earth, into cells. It is an intricate pattern of growth and death, acceleration and reduction, transformation and decay. Life is a unique organization.”
Margulis and Sagan

Permaculture is a term coined by Bill Mollison and David Holmgrem, at the end of the 70s, in Australia, for a proposal for a system of planning and productive design of human settlements that accommodates all their needs, without degrading our natural environment. All this by observing the dynamics of the ecosystems and nature itself.
It comes from the combination of two words: PERMANENT + CULTURE

Etymologically, permanent comes from the Latin permanentis, which means to remain until the end, to maintain continuity, which is always in the same place, to preserve. And, for its part, culture comes to us from culture, and this from cultus (cultivation). It is interesting to go to the etymology of the words because it tells us where they come from and what their relatives are. It is like the root of the word human, which is the same as humble and humus. That is to say, from humus derive the words human, humble, man... All of them coming from the Indo-European root "dhghem" which means land, of earth. So we could say that making hummus is an act of humility with which no harm is done to any being: which makes us more human. According to Mollison, Permaculture “is a design for the creation of sustainable human environments”. Later, coining the term, he copyrighted it so that it would not fall into the University, where it would surely degenerate and die.

Methodology:

The course is divided into six modules:

* Personalized accompaniment at all times.

*5 original School notebooks with the agenda developed.

* Explanatory infographics.

*10 specialized videos.

*Self-inquiry proposals, tasks and readings.

* Farm Engineering Practices.

*Professional feedback from each of the dynamics and proposed practices.

* 2 weekly personalized meetings via zoom for the presentation of the design. Guidance and feedback del same.

*Lunisolar calendar.

Syllabus:

-Module 1:

Introduction to Premaculture.
Transition from Permaculture.

-Module 2:

Design of spaces (zoning and elements)

-Module 3:

Water. SOS.

-Module 4:

Soil, our great unknown

-Module 5:

Seed. we are walking land

-Module 6:

end meeting. Presentation of the design of the student person and feedback from the School to optimize it.

CERTIFICATION

“Ancient wisdom is the balance between beauty and
origin, which solves the problems of existence
restoring the being to its original identity”

At the end of the first five modules, with all the dynamics carried out, the student will have access to a personalized, live session, to present their design. Subsequently, a second personalized live session will be scheduled, where we will see how its design has gone, if it can be optimized and any other contribution that
serve to adapt the design and zoning. At that time, the Premadham Premacultura School will proceed to issue the respective certification to all of the new Premacultura. The recognition we offer refers to the new direction of the heart. This certificate is really a tool to share ancestral knowledge from town to town, from city to city...weaving a network motivated by universal love and respect for Mother Earth. A true reencounter with ancestral wisdom from the very being.
